Katie Morgan

Katie has served clients since 2010 representing them in a variety of matters.  Her personalized approach to the representation of clients is at the forefront of her practice. Katie graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University.  She is licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa.  Katie has previously served on the District 3A Judicial Nominating Committee, Dollars For Scholars Board, and Teammates Mentoring Board.  Currently, she volunteers on the Northwest Community College Foundation Board, as a Rec Coach for kids’ sports, and a Sunday School teacher. O'Brien County elected Katie as the O'Brien County Attorney, and she has served in that capacity since 2023. 


My Approach

My approach is client-focused.  For most people, understanding and navigating a legal matter is complex, time-consuming, and at times, overwhelming.  An attorney should explain and give a client the information to make empowered decisions about a legal matter, not gloss over the situation and give few details about the client's options.
